THE COUNT OF SAINT GERMAIN, MUSICIAN IMMORTAL
Greetings, Friends!
It pleases me to announce that my lecture on the music of the Count of Saint Germain has been requested by, and is to be holden in San Diego, California. Most recently, it was held at Mount Shasta, in Northern California. The presentation in San Diego will occur on Monday Evening, 3 October 2022, at Six o’ Clock.
Those who attend and enjoy the lecture will owe their appreciation to Lux Lodge, No. 846, Free & Accepted Masons and to San Diego Lodge, No. 35, Free & Accepted Masons for the organizing and sponsoring of the event. Both lodges meet at the Scottish Rite of San Diego where the lecture will be holden.
While the event is advertised as a Masonic Presentation, it is open to Masons and non-Masons alike, and friends of the Masonic community. The Count of Saint Germain is perhaps the most celebrated enigmatical figures of all time. His memory is perpetuated by claims of immortality and ubiquitous appearances throughout the ages. Speculation continues, uninterrupted, concerning his reputation as an alchemist and his ability to transcend time. While all accounts of his life have acknowledged his extraordinary musical talents, very little has been offered to explain them in terms of historical settings and how they drew upon trends that have affected music through the ages. A study of this man is to examine history and mystery side by side. A comparison between the mundane and spiritual aspects of Saint Germain, including his anomalies and all other aspects that have directed attention to his life, along with the lives of other artists, places the musical dimension of the count in a perspective formerly unconsidered. As an initiate, musician, and visitor to earth’s high pinnacle, I have researched the artful ability of this individual to produce music on higher plains for mortal ears. Let his name be called the “Count of Saint Germain,’ but let his title be “Musician Immortal.”
